Currency

All prices are displayed and charged in US Dollars (USD).

International customers may see conversion at checkout, but the final charge on your bank statement will be in USD (your bank may apply their exchange rate + foreign transaction fee).

When You're Charged

  • Payment is processed immediately upon order confirmation
  • You'll receive an order confirmation email with receipt
  • Charge appears on your statement as: "THREADSSOUL" or "SHOPIFY THREADSSOUL"*

Payment Security

Your payment information is protected by:

  • SSL/TLS encryption — all data is encrypted during transmission
  • PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance — processed by Shopify Payments (highest security standard)
  • Fraud detection — automated screening for suspicious transactions
  • 3D Secure — extra verification for eligible cards

We do not store your credit card information on our servers. All payment data is processed and stored by our PCI-compliant payment processors.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address, following applicable state and local tax laws.

  • Tax rate varies by state (0% - 10%)
  • Displayed clearly before you complete your purchase
  • Included in your order confirmation

Discount Codes

Promotional discount codes must be:

  • Entered at checkout
  • Applied before completing your purchase
  • Valid at the time of use
  • One code per order (cannot combine codes unless specified)

We cannot apply discount codes retroactively after an order is placed.

Failed Payments

If your payment is declined:

  • Double-check card information (number, expiration, CVV, billing address)
  • Try a different payment method
  • Contact your bank (some banks flag first-time online purchases)

Refunds

Refunds are issued to your original payment method:

  • Credit/debit cards: 5-8 business days
  • PayPal: 3-5 business days
  • BNPL services: According to their terms

Chargebacks & Disputes

Before initiating a chargeback with your bank, please contact us first:

  • Email: info@threadssoul.store
  • We'll respond within 24 hours
  • We can resolve most issues faster than a bank dispute (which takes 30-90 days)

Filing a chargeback for issues we could have resolved may result in:

  • Account suspension
  • Refusal of future orders
  • Reporting to bank/payment processor

Suspicious Activity

If we detect suspicious activity on an order (mismatched addresses, unusual purchase patterns, high-risk indicators), we may:

  • Contact you to verify the purchase
  • Delay shipment for security review
  • Cancel and refund the order for your protection

This is done to prevent fraud and keep your account safe.
